At COPPICE , our proactive attitude to new technologies and processes has resulted in the introduction of a radical new packaging medium to the UK food packaging market.
From research in to changing cooking and eating habits, our development of Ovenable Board reflects the change seen in UK food purchasing trends by supplying the food processor with a packaging medium that possesses all the inherent qualities of expensive, specialist plastics.
The next time you are preparing the launch of a new product, consider Ovenable Board as way to increase the sales appeal of your product and contact COPPICE to find out how this dynamic material can revolutionise the shelf appeal of your products.
Despite it's low cost, Ovenable Board can withstand heat of 220 deg/c for a whole hour unlike its plastics counterparts. Performance in the microwave is excellent and its natural structure makes it stronger than conventional aluminium and cardboard.
It can be heat sealed simply by applying a plastic or card lid giving your products additional shelf life whilst maintaining products and structural integrity.
The use of paper pulp in the production of Ovenable Board allows you to pattern and colour your tray to suit your company's product branding. Essential information can be printed on the lid allowing you to reduce your overall amount of packaging whilst offering both yourselves and your customers additional benefits to traditional packaging media.
The use of natural, sustainable resources in the manufacture of Ovenable Board, mean that it conforms to our commitment to the use of environmentally friendly materials in the production of food packaging.
